Tasks/Responsibilities
The Software Development Director will be responsible for the Agile governance of software development and the modernization of a proprietary platform toward the cloud.
MORE PRECISELY
- Lead the Agile/DevOps governance of software development
- Oversee a team of technical leads (product, architecture, QA)
- Drive the modernization of a proprietary platform toward Azure
- Ensure the continuity of software development over several years
- Collaborate with senior leadership on the IT roadmap
- Manage the risks and strategic decisions of the mandate
- Work at the heart of a team of about 20 people
- Work in an environment based on ASP.NET, C#, and Azure
PROFILE
- 5+ years as Director of Development
- Experience designing operating models for software development
- Expertise in complex, multi-team IT environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Good knowledge of change management practices
- Strong ability to mobilize and coach technical teams
- Good ability to rally a team around a shared vision
- PMP or Scrum Master certification (asset)
- Bachelor’s degree in software development or equivalent experience
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
