Ruby on Rails Developer

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Junior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for actively contributing to the development and evolution of a Logistics Management System (LMS) within a rapidly growing startup environment.

• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the LMS platform using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with the CIO to develop new modules and features
• Contribute to the analysis, debugging, and resolution of technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best development practices
• Work in a dynamic startup environment requiring autonomy, initiative, and adaptability

PROFILE

• 0 to 1 year of experience in software development
• Experience with or strong interest in Ruby on Rails development
• Strong knowledge of web development and object-oriented programming
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a loosely structured environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong autonomy
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (an asset)
• English required
