Data Engineer (24+ month contract)

Tasks/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer for a 24-month contract with the possibility of being renewed.

MANDATE

• Design scalable data pipelines for large data volumes
• Model data to support Business Intelligence (BI)
• Optimize data processing for performance and reliability
• Connect AI tools (MCP protocol) to Databricks via a gateway
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists
• Work in an environment based on Databricks, Python, Spark and Azure

PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Expertise in Python and Spark for large-scale data processing
• Experience with Databricks, including serverless and job cluster modes
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Datalake and DevOps pipelines
• Good knowledge of star schema modeling and Business Intelligence (BI)
• Experience with Google BigQuery (asset)
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification (asset)
• Autonomy and ability to proactively investigate data
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
