Data Architect (12+ month contract)

Tasks/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Data Architect for a 12-month contract with the possibility of being renewed.

MANDATE

• Participate in a large-scale project to migrate enterprise data to a data lake
• Define data sources, integrations, and target data models
• Contribute to data modeling and functional analysis
• Ensure alignment with the global entity’s data framework
• Oversee solution implementation and mentor technical teams

PROFILE

• 8+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in a data architecture role
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience in a retail environment (an asset)
• Technical expertise with AWS data services (Athena, Glue, and Iceberg)
• Analytical mindset and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English required)
