Data Analyst

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will be responsible for automating pricing and analyzing operational profitability for a growing transportation company, using advanced SQL queries.

MORE PRECISELY

• Design an automated pricing model based on operational data
• Analyze profitability by route, carrier and client
• Identify margin losses and process improvement opportunities
• Take part in mergers and acquisitions analysis
• Support acquisition projects and the integration of new entities
• Be part of a team of about 2 to 3 people
• Work in an environment based on Excel, SQL and AI

PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or finance
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis
• Comfortable using artificial intelligence tools for analysis
• Autonomy and strong ability to design analytical tools
• Strong analytical mindset and resourcefulness
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions or business valuation (asset)
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
