Lead Power BI Developer

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Lead Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing and evolving Power BI solutions within the IT team of a large-scale organization, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and AI to accelerate decision-making.

MORE PRECISELY

• Design new Power BI dashboards and enhance existing reports
• Translate key performance indicators (KPI) into clear analytical solutions
• Build high-performing semantic models based on dimensional modeling
• Develop advanced DAX measures and optimize report performance
• Establish Power BI development standards (modeling, DAX, visuals)
• Resolve production incidents (data discrepancies, refresh failures)
• Support users in adopting self-service analytics
• Work in an environment based on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and Copilot

PROFILE

• 7+ years of professional experience in Power BI development
• Mastery of Microsoft Fabric and Azure analytics services
• Expertise in data modeling and semantic layer design
• Experience with Copilot in Power BI, Fabric Data Agents and Copilot Studio
• Proficiency with Tabular Editor and DAX Studio
• Experience in a governed Business Intelligence (BI) environment
• Good knowledge of metadata and data translation
• Knowledge of SAP data and business processes (asset)
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to explain concepts to various teams
• DEC or BAC in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism (English required, French functional)
