Lead Data Analyst

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for turning data into a decision-making lever for a large digital organization, by driving the analytics stream and advising various teams.

MORE PRECISELY

• Contribute to planning the Data roadmap and deliver its analytics stream
• Support various teams in their strategic decisions through data
• Analyze revenue and expense data to guide key choices
• Present analysis results to all levels of the organization
• Define analysis standards and keep up with best practices
• Participate in advanced analytics, data science and AI projects
• Mentor a junior analyst within a team of about 3 people
• Work in an environment based on SQL, Python, R and Business Intelligence (BI)

PROFILE

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst
• Strong expertise in a business domain (marketing, sales, finance)
• Mastery of SQL, Python and R
• Experience with reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
• Ease in communicating and simplifying concepts for non-technical audiences
• Natural leadership and ability to rally a team around common goals
• Client-oriented mindset with experience managing internal clients
• Knowledge of project management (asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English functional)
