Java Fullstack Technical Lead

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Java Fullstack Technical Lead will be responsible for ensuring the technical robustness of large-scale web solutions, from design through to production, while guiding a team of developers within a human-sized IT company.

MORE PRECISELY

• Validate the technical feasibility of new projects from the outset
• Design technical solutions with the IT Project Manager
• Conduct code reviews and define the automated testing strategy
• Support back-end and front-end developers on critical issues
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications
• Optimize deployment cycles with the DevOps team
• Technically lead a team of about 5 developers (rituals, mentoring)
• Work in an environment based on Java, Spring, Node.js and Kubernetes

PROFILE

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development
• First successful experience as a Technical Lead
• Advanced mastery of Java 11+ and Spring (IoC, Batch, Integration)
• Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, Webpack and JavaServer Pages (JSP)
• Proficiency with SQL (MySQL/MariaDB), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins
• Hands-on Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Agile Kanban practice
• Used to JUnit, Cucumber and Cypress testing tools
• Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and messaging (asset)
• Sensitivity to user experience (UX/UI) (asset)
• Daily use of artificial intelligence (AI) agents such as Claude (asset)
• DEC or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English functional)
