IT Solutions Architect

Tasks/Responsibilities

The IT Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining the target architecture of a custom-built hybrid cloud software platform undergoing modernization and a shift to a product model, while structuring the IT team’s architecture decisions.

MORE PRECISELY

• Define the target application, data and cloud architecture of the platform
• Approve technical choices with security first, then best practices
• Drive the modernization of existing applications and legacy code
• Oversee the integration and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Tech Leads and Release Manager
• Join an IT team of approximately 20 people
• Work in an environment based on hybrid cloud, APIs, Epicor ERP and AI

PROFILE

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 as an IT Solutions Architect
• Mastery of hybrid cloud architectures and on-premises environments
• Expertise in application programming interfaces (API) and data flows
• Experience with Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) (strong asset)
• Knowledge of the manufacturing sector (strong asset)
• Ability to structure a decision framework and guide a technical team
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and its governance
• TOGAF certification (asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
