IT Procurement Specialist (12+ month contract)

Tasks/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an IT Procurement Specialist for a 12-month contract with the possibility of being renewed.

MANDATE

• Lead public IT tendering processes, from planning to contract award
• Draft specifications, contract clauses and bid evaluation grids
• Advise managers in defining their procurement needs
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
• Oversee contract follow-up (amendments, renewals, disputes)
• Work in an environment based on Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PROFILE

• 10+ years of professional experience in tendering, including 6+ years in IT
• Mastery of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (LCOP)
• Experience in procuring professional services and IT solutions
• Ease in interpreting applicable laws, regulations and policies
• Experience in tendering for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (asset)
• Knowledge of Edilex software (asset)
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomy and strong ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Strong collaborative mindset and client focus
• Bachelor’s degree in administration or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
