Data Engineer

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will be responsible for the integration, reliability and performance of data platforms on Snowflake and AWS for a large-scale organization, while contributing to innovative artificial intelligence projects.

MORE PRECISELY

• Design and maintain data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Build robust data warehouses on Snowflake
• Respond quickly to critical database incidents
• Create models and implement MLOps and DevOps practices
• Integrate generative AI (GenAI) technologies into IT processes
• Present projects to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate within a team of about 5 people
• Work in an environment based on SQL, Python, Snowflake, Linux and AWS

PROFILE

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
• Mastery of SQL and Python
• Experience with Snowflake and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Good knowledge of Linux environments
• Strong interest in generative AI and machine learning
• Experience with MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) and DevOps (asset)
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
• Curiosity, autonomy and fast learning ability
• SnowPro Core or AWS certification (asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English functional)
