Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (12+ month contract)

Tasks/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst for a 12-month contract with the possibility of being renewed.

MANDATE

• Monitor threats, vulnerabilities and operational risks
• Configure and optimize monitoring tools and analyze logs
• Coordinate security incident response and remediation follow-up
• Manage privileged access and access-segmentation requests
• Assess the security impact of changes in IT environments
• Work in an environment based on SIEM and vulnerability management tools

PROFILE

• 8+ years of professional experience in information security
• Experience in incident response and crisis management
• Mastery of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) best practices
• Good knowledge of security log and event analysis
• Skilled at writing incident reports and root cause analyses
• Critical thinking, autonomy and attention to detail
• Experience in a large government or public context (asset)
• CISSP, GCIH or CySA+ certification (asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, administration or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
