CONFIDENTIAL, possibility of working 100% remotely in the greater Montreal area

Tasks/Responsibilities

The System/Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the performance of the company’s infrastructure with approximately 60 servers on 2 sites.

 

MORE PRECISELY

 

  • Perform systems and network monitoring, then resolve issues and optimize infrastructure
  • Carry out migrations to more recent versions of Windows Server and some migrations to the Cloud
  • Configure networking for a major hardware change
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems, IT security and carry out backups
  • Work in an environment on Microsoft 365, VMware, SonicWall, DELL
  • Write technical documentation and create procedures

 

 

PROFILE

 

  • 3+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator
  • Expertise with Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft 365
  • Technical versatility, ease with both Windows and Linux and both system and network
  • Professional experience in an SME (Small/Medium Enterprise)
  • Have a car and a valid driving license
  • Be open to occasional travel to sites
  • Strong initiative and candor
  • DEC in computer science or equivalent
  • Bilingualism (English required, functional French)
