The Support Technician will be responsible for supporting approximately 200 users on their laptops and network PCs using Windows. It will act as an intermediary between the user group and the IT department. The Technician will also provide support for all cell phones (IPhone, Blackberry).
Offer the Level 1 support for users across Canada.
Answer calls due to connection issues
Provide technical support and follow up on unresolved issues;
Train employees on the use of systems;
Provide software support for applications (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Mc Afee Antivirus);
Configure and Install new computer systems;
Perform repairs on laptops, computers, printers and fax machines;
Collaborate with the Network Administrator to maintain the inventory of PCs, servers, peripherals as well as telecommunication equipment;
Perform IT recovery tests as needed.
