Tasks/Responsibilities
The Software Development Director will be responsible for managing and mobilizing a collaborative team of approximately 15 people (C# Developers, QA Analysts, DevOps, Technical Lead / Architect).
MORE PRECISELY
- Manage a budget of approximately $2.5M and plan deadlines
- Contribute to the recruitment of the development team and ensure sound change management
- Manage application projects for two main product lines, establish roadmaps and follow up
- Ensure the success of major deployments with different customers
- Work closely with the VP IT, make recommendations, and propose an action plan
- Work in a Microsoft 365 environment, C# .NET, Azure DevOps, ISO
PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience as Software Development Director
- Experience in recruiting and managing a team of approximately 10-15 people
- Interest in staying hands-on on product management and project management
- Experience in budget management of approximately $2.5M
- Strong spirit of collaboration, unifying and mobilizing personality
- Human leadership, ability to set clear and realistic goals
- Experience in Microsoft 365 environment
- Knowledge of C# (asset)
- BAC in computer science or equivalent
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
