Tasks/Responsibilities
The Network Technician will be responsible for supporting a team of eight System/Network Administrators in the operational activities of the IT infrastructure related to Levels 1 and 2.
MORE PRECISELY
- Install and carry out the maintenance of the fiber optic network (more than 150 km)
- Contribute to migrations from Windows Server 2008-2012-2016-2019 to 2022
- Participate in the replacement of a hundred switches in different sites
- Support new IT implementations and contribute to the evolution of the IT inventory (+300 servers)
- Work in an environment on Windows, Microsoft 365, VMware, and Extreme Networks
- Participate in the technical training of employees of the various departments
- Work within a team of three Network Technicians
PROFILE
- 1+ year of experience as IT Technician (Level 2)
- Specialized experience in computer networking, ideally with fiber optics
- Good knowledge of the Windows Server environment and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Extreme Networks (strong asset)
- Strong spirit of collaboration, curiosity, and resourcefulness
- DEC in computer science or equivalent
- French required, English being a strong asset
