Tasks/Responsibilities

The Network Support Technician will be responsible for providing the necessary technical support to the company’s customers.

 

MORE PRECISELY

 

Provide support to customers on voice and fax networks;

Sort tickets queued and solve complex problems;

Participate in new network installations and product updates;

Work in collaboration with internal services and provide them with relevant information;

Analyze recurring incidents to better understand the problems and causes;

Participate in maintaining incident reports processed.

Profile

  • 4+ years of experience as a Support Technician
  • Experience in Voice Over IP and fax systems
  • Good networking knowledge such as LAN topology, IP routing, TCP / IP, SMTP
  • Mastery of Microsoft Active Directory, GPO, Exchange Servers
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 servers
  • Understand protocols for Cisco routers, switches, Ethernet
  • DEC in computer network management or equivalent
  • Bilingual (French and English).
