Tasks/Responsibilities
The Network Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a high-performance infrastructure and the reliability of the IT network in order to maximize client innovations.
MORE PRECISELY
- Ensure the proper functioning of the network at the provincial level (IP environment, DWDM, etc.)
- Evaluate the technical networking/telecommunications needs of different clients
- Analyze incidents in order to resolve them and design technical quotes
- Manage network equipment installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Monitor the complete delivery cycle of selected projects
- Ensure proactive monitoring of the entire network
- Maintain technical documentation up to date and write reports
- Work at the heart of an IT team of around ten people (Tech., Admin., Cybersecurity, Manager)
PROFILE
- 2+ years of experience as a Network Analyst
- Expertise in TCP/IP protocols, BGP dynamic routing and layer 2 & 3 architecture
- Knowledge of computer security and fiber optics (asset)
- Mastery of network monitoring software
- Ability in project management and technical documentation
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools
- Juniper and/or Cisco certifications (strong assets)
- DEP, AEC, DEC in networking or equivalent
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
