Machine Learning Director

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Director will be responsible of managing a team of 10 machine learning experts who contribute to enhance the core business platform.

Analyze the requirements, complexity and feasibility of advanced features;

Design a business machine learning roadmap;

Review tasks and assign resources to the right place;

Play a role of mentor and coach for the team;

Collaborate and establish various partnerships with research institutes and other experts.

PROFILE

5+ years of experience as Director/Manager;

10+ years of experience in Machine Learning or Deep Learning or Applied Research in Industry;

Previous experience as a developer and mastery of the technical side;

Knowledge of Terraform, Pandas, Python, C++, Spark;

Strong passion for Machine Learning;

Relational skills, strong team spirit, results oriented;

Ph.D./Doctorate in computer science, physics, mathematics or the equivalent;

English required, French an asset.
