IT Technician

Tasks/Responsibilities

The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s technological infrastructure and managing the migration of data from legacy point-of-sales (POS) systems to new platforms.

MORE PRECISELY

• Provide technical support to users (hardware, software, POS systems, network).
• Maintain IT infrastructure including systems, networks, security, and backups.
• Manage equipment, mobile devices and produce technical documentation.
• Contribute to various IT infrastructure improvement projects, including POS systems and website.
• Oversee POS data migration, perform testing, and train end users.

PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Technician
• Professional experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and SQL databases, with an asset for experience in POS environments
• Knowledge of Lightspeed or Shopify
• Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and internal support capabilities
• Attention to detail, versatility, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities
• BAC in computer Science or equivalent
• CompTIA and Microsoft certifications (asset)
• Bilingualism (French required, English required)
