Tasks/Responsibilities

The IT Support Team Lead will be responsible for the proper functioning of the company’s IT infrastructure as well as technical support for the 750 employees.

  • Manage a team of 5 IT technicians and ensure professional development
  • Direct the configuration and maintenance of computer, software, network, and telecommunications hardware
  • Implement a security plan to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information
  • Analyze efficiency, optimize costs, issue various recommendations, and negotiate with suppliers
  • Contribute to technological choices and the success of IT infrastructure projects
  • Monitor IT infrastructure to detect incidents relating to cybersecurity and performance
  • Promote continuous improvement, software updates and optimal data backup

 

 

PROFILE

 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, including significant experience as an IT Support Team Lead
  • Strong communication and bilingual documentation writing skills
  • Good knowledge of data security and confidentiality plans
  • Mastery of the Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365 environment
  • Excellent priority management and leadership
  • DEC or BAC in computer science or equivalent
  • Bilingualism (French required, functional English)
