IT Director

Tasks/Responsibilities

The IT Director will be responsible for IT project management (40%), operations management (30%) and team management (30%) of 6 people (system administrators, networks and IT technicians). This position reports to the Senior Director of IT and Cybersecurity.

MORE PRECISELY

• Manage the team and everything that this includes (recruitment, on-call planning, motivation, mobilization, evaluations, skills development, etc.)
• Be responsible for data center activities (performance, deployment, maintenance, backups, hardware renewal, etc.)
• Take charge of various projects such as system installations, migrations, hardware renewal, solution deployment
• Take care of supplier management, orders, negotiation, participate in the tender process up to the management of the IT department budget
• Work in a Windows, IBM, Veeam Back Up environment.

PROFILE

• 10+ years of experience in IT including 3 to 5 years in a team leader role
• Good skills in project management and IT operational management
• Experience in the entire IT sphere (infrastructure, networking, operations, development)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent mobilizing leadership and collaborative spirit
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English required)
