Director of Telecommunications

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Telecommunications Director will be responsible for relationships with the company’s various partners. They will provide a technical and strategic vision for the coming years in order to develop all services for the company’s members.

• Implement business strategies and a strategic vision for developing relationships with business partners
• Manage the team (2 people)
• Be responsible for various business proposals, highlight the full range of services offered, and identify potential opportunities
• Represent the organization at various annual events (be able to travel to Canada once a year)
• Take responsibility for managing budgets under your responsibility and have the ability to develop revenue forecasts
• Validate the feasibility of delivering proposed services and projects
• Issue technical recommendations on network, telecommunications, cloud, and cybersecurity services

PROFILE

• 5 to 10+ years in a similar role as an IT business development manager focused on telecommunications, networking or cybersecurity
• Mastery of the basics of information technology (IP networks, routing, cybersecurity, telecommunications, etc.)
• Excellent negotiation, organization and budget management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership and ability to mobilize a team
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
• Bilingualism (French required, English required)
