Tasks/Responsibilities
The BI Director will be responsible for providing cloud computing expertise with Microsoft Azure to complement the rapidly growing company’s service offering.
MORE PRECISELY
- Manage 7-10 BI specialists, contribute to their professional development and report to the CEO
- Actively participate in the implementation of a BI service offer on Microsoft Azure
- Implement the best strategies and build specialized processes in Cloud
- Carry out follow-ups with clients, suppliers, and external partners
- Work in an environment on Azure, Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
- Ensure the delivery of the various projects and the quality of the deliverables
PROFILE
- 7+ years of experience in BI, including 5+ years as Director/Manager
- Professional experience in a consulting firm and/or in consultation (strong asset)
- Experience in BI architecture, in a cloud computing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Synapse and Databricks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
- Interest in remaining hands-on (about 25h/week)
- Knowledge of SAP (assets)
- Good interpersonal skills
- BAC in computer science or equivalent
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
