Automated Test Developer

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Automated Test Developer will be responsible of developing and executing Front-End and Back-End testing of an IoT application developed by the company to ensure its optimal performance by maximizing automation with Cypress.

MORE PRECISELY

Write code to create automated tests;

Design test plans and different scenarios;

Perform various tests (exploratory, functional, regression, smoke tests, etc.);

Contribute to building effective quality assurance strategies in the company;

Work in an IoT environment, AWS Cloud, Node.JS, JavaScript, MongoDB;

Work in a team of 6 people (Developers, Product Owner, QA) and report to the VP Software.

PROFILE

5+ years of experience as a Automated Test Developer;

Professional experience in automation and expertise in Front-End and Back-End testing;

Knowledge of IoT or AWS Cloud (strong asset);

Experience with an automation tool, ideally Cypress;

Knowledge of Node.JS, Javascript, MongoDB (or other NoSQL database);

Experience in exploratory testing methodology;

Good adaptation capacity;

BAC in computer science or the equivalent;

English required, basic French.
