Make a difference 1 Hour at a time with DELAN

At DELAN, we believe in the power of giving back. This is why we launched, in November 2022, our philanthropic program “1 DON, 1 HEURE À LA FOIS“.

Discover through this article more details on this program, our charitable partners as well as the highlights of our first donation ceremony.

Our Philanthropic Program « 1 DON, 1 HEURE À LA FOIS »

Our donation program is simple and meaningful. For each hour worked by our IT consultants for our clients, DELAN donates $1 of its income to the charitable organization chosen by the consultant from one of our four partner organizations. It is important to emphasize that this program does not in any way influence the consultants’ fees, because DELAN undertakes to contribute financially from ITS income. In addition, consultants can make additional voluntary donations to these organizations.

“ I thank you again not only for this generous donation which will support our projects but also for having acted in a concrete way, for taking action to take a further step towards equality and the defense of vulnerable people. It’s to your credit”

Wanda Bedard – President and Founder of 60 Million Girls

Partner Organizations of our donation program

  • Breakfast Club of Canada is committed to providing nutritious breakfasts to children across the country because they believe every child deserves to start the day with a healthy meal.
  • Leucan supports children with cancer and their families by offering support, financing, and information services, thus helping to improve the quality of life of children affected by the disease.
  • Centraide brings together people and resources to fight poverty and social exclusion. Their goal is to create stronger, more resilient communities.
  • 60 Million Girls is dedicated to the education of girls in developing countries around the world, recognizing the transformative power of education to create lasting change.

“I wanted to thank you once again for the wonderful event and the generosity of the gesture that DELAN and its consultants have made to philanthropic organizations and the Montreal community”

William Hupke – Assistant director – Centraide

Donation Ceremony: It’s time to give back

On November 14, 2023, we celebrated the success of our donation program during a happy hour in our new offices. During this event, we expressed our gratitude to our consultants and clients who helped raise a significant amount this year.

Highlights of the evening included welcome speeches, the presentation of the beneficiary foundations, inspiring testimonials, the official presentation of donations to the organizations, and a cocktail dinner to encourage networking.
