The Telecom Analyst will be responsible for optimizing networking solutions and developing strategies to transform the company’s network to the latest technologies. He/she will also be responsible for to evaluate the network capacity to provide company services

 

MORE PRESENTLY

 

Act as an expert in a specific network aspect such as, WAN, LAN, WLAN etc.;

Contribute to the implementation of the next generation of the network or solutions services, and this at all stages of the process;

Continually evaluate the capacity of the corporate network;

Provide the level 3 support for network operations;

Apply the principles of good governance in the telecom environment;

Provide advice and assistance in troubleshooting complex issues;

Provide support outside office hours (once every 3-4 months).


Required conditions

  • 8+ years of experience as a Telecom Analyst
  • Knowledge of LAN/WLAN technologies (layer 2 and 3 switches and routers, wireless controllers and access points
  • Knowledge of IP technologies such as, UDP, TCP and OSI
  • Knowledge of routing protocols such as, EIGRP and BGP
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies
  • Familiar with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), next-generation firewalls and other technologies
  • Familiar with Authentication Services and Technologies (AAA) such as, Radius, Terminal Access Controller Access Control System (TACACS), Control and Access Service (ACS) and Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Experience with SD-WAN, Identity and Access Management (IAM), ISE, Office 365 and cloud (asset) implementation
  • Must have a Cisco Certification (CCNA or CCNP)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Bilingual (French and English).
