Tasks/Responsibilities


The Security Analyst will be responsible to help the company attain its business objectives by providing security expertise in various company initiatives as well projects. He/she will need to guarantee the infrastructure and application solutions security as well as their compliance to company’s security policies

 

MORE PRECISELY

 

Prepare network risk assessment and formulate recommendations to contain them within acceptable limits;  

Participate in the setting of standards, procedures and processes related to network security;

Participate in the analysis and implementation of network security solutions as needed;

Participate in the resolution of incidents related to cybersecurity;

Produce reports for management;

Coordinate process deficiencies with the internal audit teams and IT shared services;

Perform network security verification to ensure compliance with the security framework;

Define security obligations and prepare requirements related to the design and development of security infrastructures such as Security Information and Events Management (GIES), ICP, firewalls and intrusion system detection by collaborating with colleagues;


Required conditions

  • 10+ years of experience as a information Security Analyst
  • In-depth knowledge of network infrastructures, particularly intrusion detection systems, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment strategies, encryption of files and sessions, web applications, etc.
  • Knowledge of Security information and Event Management tools (SIEM) and security features specific to networks and operating systems such as, Windows, Unix, Palo, Alto, Cisco, Bluecoat, Proofpoint, AD, LDAP and TCP/IP
  • Must have a certification (GIAC, CISA, CISSP, CCSA/CCSE)
  • Must have one or more network certification (CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE)
  • Bilingual (French and English).
